UW-Stout Manufacturing Outreach Center
January 2024 - Current
Overview
I'm working as part-time as a Unity Programmer for UW-Stout's MOC. I'm currently working on Buzz Digital, an educational simulation game that aims to teach players Lean Manufacturing Principles. The app is being developed for tablets and uses TCP/UDP networking to simulate a production line with various parameters changing as players note possible areas of improvement.
What I'm Doing
-
Modifying and fine-tuning the educational simulation, ensuring it provides an engaging and effective learning experience.
-
Conducting rigorous testing to identify and address any issues, resulting in a more robust and reliable product.
-
Building upon the existing TCP/UDP networking system to enhance its performance and reliability.
-
Debugging and resolving issues, improving overall connectivity and user experience.
-
Regularly making use of Polymorphic Design, SOLID Principles, Inheritance, and Interfaces in my code.
-
Leveraging these principles to create maintainable, extensible, and efficient software components.
